Terms of Use and Cancellation Policies

• General

1.  The website is the official website of the “Flora Valley Hotel”, Ein Kerem (hereinafter: the “Hotel”).
2.  Any user of this site, declares that he has read the contents of this policy, and that he unequivocally agrees to all its provisions and conditions, and that he and/or those on his behalf will not have any claim and/or demand and/ or claim, directly and/or indirectly, against the site and/or any of its owners and/or any of its managers and/ or anyone on its behalf and/ or the hotel.
3. Some of the content of this site is written/worded in male parlance for convenience only, but is intended for both women and men.
4. The user declares that the information displayed on the website and/or any part of it is the exclusive property of the hotel. In addition, declares that the hotel reserves the copyrights to the information and/or any part thereof, and that it undertakes to use the information on the site for its personal use only, and not to copy, photograph, sell, reproduce, broadcast, print or publish the information on the site, whether owned by the hotel or if owned by third parties and/or part of it to any person and/or group without the prior written consent of the hotel, except for a non-commercial personal use for information.
5. The user is obligated to not make any distortion or change of the information, or take any action that may damage the accuracy and reliability of the information, dignity or name of the hotel as the copyright holder in it, or of any other party.

• Risks and warranty

1. 1. The user hereby declares that he knows that the use of a website involves many risks, both because of the technology involved and because of human factors operating through the internet.
   2. The user is solely and fully responsible for any use he makes and/or will make of the information.
   3. The information is for the personal use of the user only and its use, including any reliance on it, is the sole responsibility of the user. Among other things, the user declares that he is aware that the images displayed on the website are for illustration purposes only, and that there may be differences  between their display on the computer screen and their appearance in reality.
   4. The information that is displayed on the website as it is and the hotel is not responsible for adapting the information to the user’s needs and is not responsible to the user due to his inability to use the information for any reason. The user is solely responsible for the way he uses the information.
   5. The hotel makes every effort to ensure that the information is as correct and accurate as possible, but the information does not claim to be a full, complete or detailed analysis of all the issues listed in it. The information is only general and partial. The hotel will not be held responsible for any errors in the information displayed on the website, both by the hotel and by a third party.
   6. The hotel will not be liable for any damage, inconvenience, loss, or expense or distress that may be caused to the user or his property (including the user’s hardware equipment and/or software) or to any third party, directly or indirectly, due to entering the site and using its contents.
   7. The hotel will not be held responsible for any illegal activity by any user of the site or any other entity beyond its control.
   8. The hotel will not be held responsible for changes made to the information by the user and/or by any other third party.

• Booking Reservation

1. 1.  General
      1. The user may use this website only to order and purchase services and/or receive information. Use of this site for any other purpose is not permitted. 
      2. Booking a hotel room is possible by calling the hotel’s reservation center by phone, as shown on the ‘Contact Us’ page or through this website.
      3. Anyone booking a room through this site is required to enter their personal details, including ID number or passport number and credit card number, as well as details of all those staying with them.

1. Details of the purchaser of the Services
   1. When purchasing the services through the website and placing the order as detailed below, the user will be required to enter his personal details in the system.
   2. The owners of the site and/or any of its operators and/or any of its owners and/or any of its managers and/or anyone on their behalf are not responsible for the mistake made by the user in entering the purchase details, including mistake in choosing the vacation package, date, number of beds and any other service ordered by the buyer through the website, and/or under any responsibility directly or indirectly in the event that the purchase information is not received in the system and/or for any technical and/or other problem that prevents the buyer from purchasing services through the website.
   3. Entering false purchase information is a criminal offense and legal action will be taken against those who enter false information, including tort claims for damages that may be caused to the hotel and/or the site and/or its operators and/or any of its owners and/or any of its managers and/or anyone on their behalf.
   4. The user declares that he is aware that upon entering the purchase details he will be included in the hotel database. The hotel will be allowed to use the purchase details to improve the services it offers to the user of the site as well as to contact the user via regular mail, e-mail and any other means of communication and adapt the site to his personal needs and preferences.

• Online reservations

1. 1. The user will enter the order details on the website.
   2. When entering the booking details, the user will be required to enter their credit card details, for security purposes only, unless otherwise stated on the type of room or package purchased, during peak periods and/or on any date the hotel updates its booking method.
   3. The payment will be made in full at the end of the guest stay at the hotel, using the credit card details entered on the website and/or in cash.

* Except in specific cases where the payment will be made, or part of it, at another time according to the considerations of the hotel management.

• Terms and Conditions

1. 1.  The prices on the website are in shekels and include VAT according to the VAT rate that changes from time to time, and/or in $ (dollars) without VAT, which will be legally added for Israeli citizens. Prices that appear in $, will be calculated based on the currency rate as set by the Bank of Israel, as of the actual day of payment.
   2.  Israeli guests who hold additional citizenship, and choose to place their order at one of the international tourist sites, will be charged additional VAT by law.
   3. The hotel may change the booking conditions and package prices at any time.
   4. The hotel may change the site policies from time to time without giving prior notice to the user. The hotel will publish the new terms on the website and they will take effect at the time of their publication.
   5. The hotel may close the website and change from time to time its structure, content, appearance, scope and availability of the services and content provided on it, and any other aspect involved in the site and its operation without having to notify the user in advance. The user declares that he will not have any claim and/or demand towards the hotel in this regard.
   6. The number of places in the hotel is limited and room reservations are based on availability only.
   7. No multiple promotions and discounts

   8.  Check-in & Check-out
      1. Check-in Sun-Fri: 15:00pm, Sat/Holiday: 15:00pm.
      2. Check-out Sun-Fri: 11:00pm, Sat/Holiday 11:00pm.
      3. Arrival and/or departure before/after the hours as stated, is subject to prior confirmation by the hotel management and may incur an additional fee.

   9.  Infants and Children
      1. Definitions:

“Infant” – those up to two years old.
“Child” – those up to 11 years old.

1. Children and teenagers under the age of 18 years old can only be accompanied by an adult over 21 years old.

1. Only the laws of the State of Israel shall apply to this agreement. The exclusive jurisdiction   for any matter relating to this agreement and the use of the website is in the certified courts in the Jerusalem district.
2. The user is aware that the use of a website on the site by its nature may have technical malfunctions.
3. Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE)

• Cancelation of reservation

1. 1.  Unless otherwise specified on the booking confirmation, cancellation of a reservation made up to two days before the arrival date at 12:00 – no cancellation fee.
      If canceled later, the first night of booking will be charged.
      Failure to arrive without prior notice will result in a charge of the first 2 nights of the booking and the room will be released for booking at 12:00 the next day.
   2. The following cancellation policy applies to holidays, peak periods and special dates:

Cancellation of a reservation made up to five days before the arrival date at 12:00 – without cancellation fee. If canceled later, the first 2 nights will be charged.

Failure to arrive without prior notice will incur a charge of the first 3 nights of booking.

1. Long stays, group bookings and special events will be charged a deposit in accordance with the hotel’s terms and policies.

• Various instructions

1. 1. The hotel does not allow animals.
   2. Do not invite additional guests beyond what is stated in the reservation without receiving the hotel’s prior consent. Bringing guests to the hotels complex whether if it’s just for lodging or accommodation without lodging – will be charged an additional fee.
   3. Do not remove equipment from the guest rooms without authorization.
   4. The absence of any fixed equipment in a room, without authorization, will be charged the quoted price of the same equipment that is missing to the credit card that was given as security. The price of the equipment will be determined by the hotel.
   5. No smoking is allowed in the hotel premises, except in places designated by the hotel management.

• Preserving of the premises

1. 1. The guest undertakes on his behalf and on behalf of all other guests staying with him to maintain the place and not to cause any intentional and/or negligent damage to the hotel premises, including all the equipment therein.
   2. The guest acknowledges that in the event of any damage, the credit card mentioned above will be charged at full cost of the damage.
